All writers have their own style of writing and their own stimuli to inspire their work, which is why we’ve decided to launch a little creative challenge!

Halloween is fast approaching, so we think it's high time Calliope showcases some good old-fashioned spooky stories! 

So our end of summer, beginning of autumn/fall, contest is here. Send us a Halloween story of no more than 1500 words with the title "In the Dark". It can be about anything supernatural/spooky/ghostly/other-worldly you like. We're excited to see all the different interpretations of the title our readers come up with!
